What this unofficial guide knows about you

Last updated: Oct 3, 2026

The honest answer is: very little. Chicken Road: Unofficial Guide has no accounts, no sign-up and no newsletter, so we never ask for your name, phone number or email address unless you choose to write to us. This policy explains the small amount of data that does exist and who holds it.

Records kept by our host

Like almost every website, this one sits on a hosting provider’s servers, and that provider keeps standard access logs. A log line typically records an IP address, the browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the visit. These records are used to keep the site secure and to fix technical faults, and they are deleted after a limited period. We do not combine them with any other information to work out who you are, and we never use them to build a profile of your reading habits.

Emails you send us

If you write to the support address, we keep your message and address only for as long as it takes to deal with the matter, plus a short period in case you follow up. Your email is never added to a mailing list or passed to a casino, and you can ask us to delete the thread at any time.

The age confirmation

When you confirm that you are 18 or older, your answer is saved in your browser’s local storage so the question does not pop up on every page. It is not a cookie, it stays on your device and it is never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Things other companies run

The demo on the homepage is loaded from InOut Games’ own servers inside a frame. Whatever that frame collects, such as a session token for your play credit, falls under the studio’s policies rather than ours. In the same way, outbound casino links take you to third-party operators who apply their own privacy rules the moment you arrive. Read those before you hand over any details.

What we never do

Your rights in India

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to ask what personal data an organisation holds about you, to have it corrected and to have it erased. In practice the only personal data we could hold is an email you sent us, plus whatever appears in the host’s logs.

Making a request and later changes

To ask about your data, email [email protected] and describe what you need; we may ask a question or two to confirm the request is genuine. If the way this site handles data changes, we will revise this page and its date. The cookie policy covers browser storage in more detail.
